Crowd funding platform for property developments

Fruitful combines real estate crowdfunding with modular home developments to make beautiful, affordable homes.

Background

Fruitful Homes is the first marketplace that enables investors to make the great return from property developments, while making beautiful, sustainable homes affordable for everyday people.   

We created a platform that enables anyone to invest in development projects online from just £1,000 and receive the majority share of net profits. This provides investors with market leading returns, while enabling Fruitful to undertake larger development projects and build more homes to help solve the UK housing crisis.

What we did

We developed an API that could drive a React JS frontend, allowing for a more responsive experience, while keeping all business domain rules on the server side.  We followed a hexagonal architecture for the code base to allow us maximum flexibility moving forward.

As well as the core development, we provided all the integrations with 3rd parties for KYC checks and user wallets (Onfido, Mangopay etc).

Result

As a result of building the platform, Fruitful was able to raise more than half a million pounds in investments for it's development projects. 

Feedback from investors was that the system provided a seamless experience and accounts could be setup and ready to go very fast.  Based on this feedback we developed an Auto-Invest option which would automatically invest their wallet funds into applicable investments set by rules the investors had created.
