Background

Fruitful Homes is the first marketplace enabling investors to earn significant returns from property developments while making sustainable, beautiful homes affordable for everyday people. Our challenge was to create a platform that allows anyone to invest in development projects from just £1,000, sharing in the majority of net profits.

This model supports larger development projects and helps address the UK housing crisis by making affordable, sustainable housing more widely available. The platform needed to be user-friendly, secure, and capable of handling complex financial transactions and regulatory requirements.

What we did

We developed an API to drive a React JS frontend, providing a responsive and seamless user experience. By keeping all business logic on the server side, we ensured the platform's robustness and security.

Our development followed a hexagonal architecture, allowing for maximum flexibility and scalability. We also integrated with third-party services for KYC checks and user wallets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and enhancing user trust.

Result

As a result of our work, Fruitful Homes was able to raise over half a million pounds in investments for their development projects. Investors reported a seamless experience, with quick account setup and easy access to investment opportunities.

Based on investor feedback, we introduced an Auto-Invest feature, allowing users to automatically invest their wallet funds based on predefined rules. This feature further enhanced the user experience and contributed to the platform's success.

Our platform not only facilitated significant fundraising but also positioned Fruitful Homes as a leader in the real estate crowdfunding market, demonstrating the value of our comprehensive and innovative software solutions.
